180 days or more
TikTok says an account that has not been used to access TikTok for 180 days or more may have its username reset to a randomized numeric username.
Nobody else can see inactivity
TikTok says whether an account is inactive is not publicly visible. A profile that has not posted may still be in use.
Reassigning is rare
TikTok says that in most instances it cannot reassign a username. It suggests choosing a variation instead.
Other routes exist for real violations
An impersonation report or a trademark report is the route when an account poses as you or uses your registered mark. Both are described on the TikTok claim page.
