Your username is taken by an inactive account

Short answer: An inactive account still owns its username. None of the three platforms releases a name because it looks quiet, so the route depends on facts such as impersonation or a registered mark.

What inactive means

Quiet for months or years. It does not mean the owner has gone.

What to check

Try the name in the username screen of each platform.
Read TikTok's inactive account policy.
Look for impersonation or use of your mark.

Pick a close variation for now, and keep a note of the name so you can check it again.
